The Yamas are guidelines on how to interact with the world. Satya is the second of five Yama guidelines. Satya is Sanskrit for Truth.
Finding truth in your:
Mind, through Integrity
Body, through Awareness
Spirit, through Authenticity
Pranayama – Ujjayi Breath. One simple way of observing truth in our practice is by paying close attention to our breath. Ujjayi breath is the “soundtrack” that you listen to when practicing yoga…if the breath is strained or shallow, it’s likely the body isn’t happy with what it’s doing.
Mediation – Tattva Mudra (Truth) reminds us that our true nature is unchanging, pure and whole.
Reading – Second of three installments of the Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address.
