I see so many students pushing themselves too hard in their practice, thinking that the harder they push, the better they’ll become. While this may be true in many areas of your life, this could be SO dangerous with yoga! A simple and gentle sequence can be just as powerful as a sweat-inducing yoga flow. This gentle 10-minute yoga routine is a powerful place to begin to increase flexibility in the lower back, shoulders and neck, and the hip flexors. It’s gentle enough that it’s perfect for beginners but it’s also really good to do if you’re experienced. It’s easy to add it to your day when you’re feeling tight, have pain in your lower back, or just need to ground yourself. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
