Fightmaster Yoga: Piston Exhalations Exercise (Kneeling Position)

by | Jan 21, 2024 | Yoga Videos

Piston Exhalations exercise is intended to strengthen the Pelvic Floor and Diaphragm. This also can be part of learning the Fit For Birth Core Breathing Belly Pump™ exercise and style of breathing. In this video, a 30-week pregnant woman practices “pistoning” her exhale.

This core exercise can be used to create the foundation needed for preventing and repairing core dysfunctions that result in issues like: Diastasis Recti, Abdominal Hernia, lumbopelvic and female pain syndromes like Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD), pregnancy-related lower back pain, sacroiliac joint (SIJ) dysfunction, lumbar disc herniations, sciatica, piriformis syndrome, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse, as well as rehabilitation from C-section and episiotomy/tearing of the pelvic floor.
